In 2024, thanks to PNRR funding as part of the project "The Gardens of Palladio," the association exvuoto teatro, in collaboration with Pro Lugo aps, created the Oral Archive of the villa and the historic park. They interviewed 21 people of different ages who live or have lived between Lugo di Vicenza and Fara Vicentino.

The villa and its identities
The archive has collected and immortalized the memories of 100 years of history, offering insights into the life of this place, from the last noble ownership of the Valmarana family to the present day! In the archive, you will find stories about the film Senso by Luchino Visconti, honey production, changes affecting these communities, and glimpses of life showing how the world has changed around us in the past century. You can listen to this archive as if it were a podcast during your travels, at home, or while visiting the Villa to discover where honey was produced, how the Villa was seen through the eyes of a child from the 1950s, where children used to play in the park, where the great Italian cinema stars rehearsed the scenes from Senso, and how the elderly gardener treated the plants.
